Web Development with Next.js

Marketing sites and landing pages that load fast, measure everything, and are readable by AI engines from day one — built by the same team that runs your campaigns.

What should a marketing website actually do?

Three jobs: load fast enough that nobody leaves, convert visitors into measurable leads, and be understood by the machines that now mediate discovery — Google's crawler and, increasingly, AI engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity.

Most websites do none of the three. They're slow page-builder stacks, with a contact form nobody tracks, invisible to AI engines because nothing on them is machine-readable.

We build the other kind. You're looking at one right now — hoppercat.com is our own Next.js build: bilingual routing, full JSON-LD, llms.txt, spam-filtered lead tracking. View source; that's the bar.

What we build

  • Marketing sites — multi-page bilingual sites with a content layer (MDX or headless CMS) your team can actually update
  • Landing pages — focused, fast pages for campaigns, with measurement wired before the first ad click lands
  • Migrations — WordPress/Webflow/legacy → Next.js with URL mapping and SEO continuity
  • Growth-stack integration — GA4 events, conversion imports, booking flows, email capture with anti-spam

Every build ships with the technical GEO foundation included: Organization/Service/Article/FAQ/Breadcrumb schema, llms.txt, dynamic sitemap, hreflang, Core Web Vitals pass. That's not an add-on — it's the definition of done.

Why the same team that runs campaigns

A site built by people who never ran an ad tends to look great and convert poorly. Because we also run paid media and analytics, our builds start from the questions that matter: what's the conversion action, how is it measured, what does the ad traffic land on, what does the AI engine read? Web development is where our other services stop being promises and become infrastructure.

Product builds live with our sister studio

Marketing sites and landing pages are built here. Software products — SaaS platforms, mobile apps, AI tools, VR/MR experiences — are built by HopperCat Apps, our software studio. When your project needs both (a product and the site that sells it), you get one family, two specialized teams.

How we price

It depends on scope — a landing page and a 30-page bilingual site are different projects. Fixed quote after a discovery call, milestone billing, no surprises. Optional monthly care plan after launch.

FAQ

Why Next.js and not WordPress or Webflow? They're fine tools and we say so when they fit. Next.js wins on performance, bilingual architecture, and extensibility. For a simple brochure site, we'll honestly recommend the lighter tool.

Can you migrate my current site? Yes — with URL mapping, redirects, and SEO continuity as part of the checklist.

Is technical SEO included? Always. Schema, llms.txt, sitemap, hreflang, and Core Web Vitals are the definition of done.

Who maintains the site after launch? Your team (we hand over clean code + docs) or ours (care plan with updates and monthly reads).

How long does a project take? Landing page: 1–2 weeks. Full marketing site: typically 4–6 weeks.

What about web apps or mobile apps? Those live with our sister studio, HopperCat Apps. Marketing sites live here.

Why HopperCat?

Built for performance, not plugins

Next.js with static generation and server rendering where each one wins. No page-builder bloat, no 40-plugin WordPress stack held together with duct tape.

Bilingual as architecture, not afterthought

Locale routing (/es, /en), hreflang alternates, per-language metadata — the same structure this very site uses. Translation bolted onto a monolingual site never ranks properly in either language.

AI-readable from day one

Organization, Service, Article, FAQ and Breadcrumb JSON-LD, llms.txt, dynamic sitemap, semantic Q&A structure. Your site ships ready to be understood — and cited — by ChatGPT-class engines.

Measurement wired in, not promised later

GA4 events, spam-filtered lead tracking, and conversion imports are part of the build checklist, not a phase-2 promise. The site launches already answering 'how many leads?'

The demo is this website

hoppercat.com is our own stack: Next.js, bilingual routing, full schema, llms.txt, GA4 events. View source anytime — that's the quality bar for what we build you.

Process

  1. 1. Discovery & content architecture (Week 1)

What the site must achieve, who it speaks to, in which languages, and what pages earn their place. Sitemap and content model before any pixel.

  2. 2. Design & prototype (Weeks 1–2)

Design direction and a clickable prototype of the key pages. We iterate here, where changes are cheap — not after development.

  3. 3. Build (Weeks 2–4)

Next.js implementation: locale routing, CMS or MDX content layer, forms with anti-spam, animations where they help. Weekly preview links so nothing is a surprise.

  4. 4. Technical SEO/GEO + QA (Week 4)

JSON-LD, llms.txt, sitemap, robots, hreflang, Core Web Vitals pass, cross-device QA, GA4 events validated in DebugView.

  5. 5. Launch & measurement (Week 4+)

DNS cutover, Search Console verification, dashboards live. Optional care plan: content updates, dependency upgrades, and monthly performance reads.

Frequently asked questions

Why Next.js and not WordPress or Webflow?

WordPress and Webflow are fine tools — we recommend them when they fit. Next.js wins when you need top performance, bilingual architecture, custom interactions, and a site that developers can extend without fighting a page builder. If your case is a simple brochure site, we will honestly tell you a lighter tool is enough.

Can you migrate my current site?

Yes. We map your existing URLs, preserve what ranks (with redirects for what moves), and rebuild the content into the new structure. SEO continuity is part of the migration checklist, not an afterthought.

Is technical SEO included?

Always. Schema markup, llms.txt, sitemap, robots, hreflang, and Core Web Vitals are part of the definition of done — not an upsell. It's the same GEO foundation we sell as a standalone service.

Who maintains the site after launch?

Your choice. We hand over clean code and documentation if your team takes it, or we offer a care plan: content updates, dependency upgrades, backups, and monthly performance reads.

How long does a project take?

A focused landing page: 1–2 weeks. A full marketing site: typically 4–6 weeks depending on pages and content readiness. The honest bottleneck is usually content approval, so we structure the process around it.

What about web apps or mobile apps?

Product and app builds (SaaS, mobile, AI, VR/MR) live with our sister studio, HopperCat Apps. Marketing sites and landing pages live here. Same family, right tool for each job — and both sides talk to each other when your project needs both.
