GEO agencies in Mexico (2026): how we evaluated them and who does what

Eight agencies with a presence in Mexico, listed alphabetically from their own public sites. HopperCat wrote this page and is one of them, so it is not a ranking.

We read the public GEO pages of eight agencies with a presence in Mexico and listed them alphabetically, not by quality. HopperCat wrote this page, and HopperCat is one of the agencies on the list. It is not a ranking: every fact comes from each agency's own public site, read on 2026-11-03. Below you will find our criteria, what each agency says it does, and what you should check yourself.

What criteria did we use to evaluate a GEO agency?

We used five criteria anyone can observe on a public page without calling anyone:

  • Does the site name the AI engines it works for and define what "being cited" means?
  • Does it publish a named method and describe its steps?
  • Does it publish prices, or quote by scope? Either is fine; we just note which.
  • Does it say how it measures results, with citations and mentions in AI answers and not only Google positions?
  • Does it address the technical side, meaning whether AI crawlers can reach the site?

The last criterion has support in official documentation. OpenAI documents that OAI-SearchBot "is used to surface websites in search results in ChatGPT's search features" (OpenAI crawler docs). Perplexity documents that PerplexityBot "is designed to surface and link websites in search results on Perplexity" (Perplexity bot docs). If a crawler can't reach your site, that engine has less to draw on, although access alone does not mean a citation will follow.

Google says in its AI features guide: "You don't need to create new machine readable files, AI text files, or markup to appear in these features." It adds: "There's also no special schema.org structured data that you need to add." Both lines refer to AI Overviews and AI Mode.

Which GEO agencies are in Mexico and what does each say it does?

They are in alphabetical order. Every fact comes from the linked page, read on 2026-11-03. Where a page doesn't say something, we say so.

Agencia GEO

On agenciageo.mx it describes itself as "Primera agencia de Generative Engine Optimization en Latinoamérica", which is its own description. It names ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI and Claude. Its method is called Método CITA, with four phases: Contenido, Identificación, Topical and Amplificación. It publishes prices in MXN: Auditoría GEO at $9,900 MXN one-time, Consultoría GEO at $14,900 MXN per month, and Implementación CITA at $29,900 MXN per month in a 6-month program. The page does not state a city.

HopperCat

We describe ourselves in our own section below, in the same neutral register. Our service page is on hoppercat.com.

Octopus

Octopus is an agency that, per its page footer, is based in Cancún, México. Its GEO page is titled "Agencia GEO en México | Visibilidad en motores de IA" and also calls the service "SEO con IA", alongside AEO and LLMO. It names ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, and mentions a "SEO Playbook" as the base for optimizing for both Google and AI. It does not state prices.

Optimización Online

Optimización Online has its corporate office in Mexico City (Santa Fe) and lists a presence in Mexico, Colombia, the USA and Chile. It states "15 años en SEO", which is its own figure. Its GEO page says the goal is that AI "conozca, entienda y recomiende tu marca". The named method on that page is "Dominio Total Digital (DTD)". It does not state prices: the cost is defined after a free audit.

Seonet

Seonet is a digital marketing agency. Its GEO landing is titled "Agencia GEO en México". It names ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot and Claude, and also mentions AEO. The page does not state a named method or prices, and quotes are on request.

SEO Secreto

SEO Secreto is in the Miguel Hidalgo borough of Mexico City and states 13 years of experience. It describes GEO as the strategy for your brand to be cited when someone asks ChatGPT. It names ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. Its method is Método CITA, marked ™ on its site, and it calls itself "la primera agencia en LATAM especializada en posicionamiento GEO", its own description. It publishes monthly plans in MXN: $9,990 (Plan Secreto a Voces), $39,990 (Plan SEO Secreto) and $69,990 (Plan TOP SECRET). It offers a free GEO diagnostic.

SUBE Agencia Digital

SUBE Agencia Digital is an agency with contact pages for CDMX, Bogotá, Miami, Texas, Madrid, Argentina and Chile. It lists the service as "GEO o SGE (IA)". Its GEO page says it adapts content for engines such as Google SGE and Bing Copilot, names ChatGPT, and also lists voice search optimization. It does not state a named method or prices.

TEDA

TEDA is in Mexico City (Tlalpan). Its service is called "SEO + Posicionamiento IA" and it names ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude and Copilot. It has two named methods: "Metodología TEDA" (Diagnóstico Profundo, Estrategia Clara, Plan Táctico Accionable) and a "Modelo GEO 360º" with a "Diagnóstico de Madurez para Visibilidad en IA" across five dimensions. It does not state prices.

Where does HopperCat fit on this list?

We are a bilingual agency that works with AI for Mexico and the US. Our headquarters is in Guadalajara, and we also have a presence in Mexico City. On our GEO page, the service combines technical foundations, bilingual content and monthly citation measurement. We name ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google AI Overviews.

We don't publish a GEO price. We quote by scope, either as a one-off project or as a monthly retainer with a fixed fee, month to month, cancel with 30 days' notice. Our Clutch profile shows a 5.0 average from one review as of 2026-10-18. It is one review, and we say so plainly.

What should you check yourself before signing?

With any agency on this list, or one that isn't, check this:

  • Crawler access: ask them to show you whether OAI-SearchBot and PerplexityBot can reach your site.
  • Citation measurement: ask how they measure citations and mentions in AI answers, with which questions and how often.
  • What the fee includes: what is in the price and what is billed separately.
  • Native bilingual output: if you work in English and Spanish, ask for samples written from scratch in each language, not translated.
  • A written scope: deliverables, timelines and cancellation terms in one document.

Google also has a guide on hiring an SEO. It advises asking for examples of previous work and being careful with a provider that won't explain what it intends to do. The same applies to GEO.

Why don't we publish a ranking?

Because we are a vendor and we are on the list. Each agency's prices and claims are self-published, and we haven't verified them with clients. Our search found no independent survey of GEO agencies in Mexico. That doesn't mean none exists, only that we didn't find one.

A ranking written by one of the agencies would be an opinion with a stake in it. We would rather give you the criteria and the links, and let you decide.

Want a free check of your own site?

We run the 42-point check: 42 pass-or-fail points across six areas: site foundations, first impression and conversion, social proof and trust, social profiles, search and AI visibility, and measurement. Points that cannot be verified are excluded from the score, and the report says so. It is free, with no card and no call. You get a written report in English or Spanish, usually in under an hour.

Use it to compare any agency's proposal against the real state of your site.
